Jeffrey VanRemmen
Jeff began his financial services career shortly after obtaining his Bachelors of Finance degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.
Jeff started as a life insurance representative for Phoenix Home Life in 1986, where he developed his skills in financial planning and the need for life insurance in estate tax and wealth transfer planning. During those years, he became a LUTC (Life Underwriting Training Council).
Jeff eventually saw the need for independence from corporate pressure regarding his product decisions, and in 1997 became an independent financial services representative.
As an independent, Jeff has honed his skills to focus on both the tax advantaged creation of wealth, and the planning necessary to properly choose and maintain the income necessary during his clients retirement years.
“You would think the decision as to when to take your social security is no big deal.” Jeff often says, “It is one of the most important decisions a client makes during their retirement.”
Jeff has been blessed to have 5 wonderful children, 2 wonderful grandchildren and a loving wife, Teri, who he married in 1986.
Jeff's community involvement centers through volunteerism at his church. He is very active in many areas:
- Youth Ministry, through St. Vincent DePaul RCC, Springville, NY.
- Volunteer Prison Ministry through Cephas Ministry.
- Coach of baseball, softball for the mission team at St. Vincent DePaul RCC, and town of Springville, N.Y.
